An exclusive feature of Bookbound Art, gatefold and flip pages can be added onto any page for increased versatility
A gatefold is a set of pages attached to a page in an album allowing the photo underneath to be hidden from view until it is opened. We have found they are most popular as an introduction to the album although they can be placed anywhere within the album. You may choose which mats you would like on the inside and outside of your gatefold, or you can flush mount images as an additional option. Gatefold mats are the same mat offerings as full mats only cut in half.
Flip pages are an extra page hinged onto an existing page which, when closed, will fold over and cover the original page, and when opened, will fold out to create a tri-fold look. You can have either one flip page or two and they can be placed anywhere within the album. As with the gatefolds, flip pages can have standard mats with openings or can remain blank/uncut for flush-mounting prints.
Gatefolds & Flip Pages are not available on Slimline Bookbound Art albums.
